This image started with an architecture thesis I saw in the first semester. The thesis was about building greenhouse type structures within Wellington to grow food and also serve as a green space for peoples well being. I wanted to loosely take and radicalize this idea. The area would be elevated as a lot of Thorndon Quay can be low.
I gathered a lot of photo reference from Singapore when I was on exchange there last year. Because SG is so dense there isn't a lot of green spaces so an effort is being made to incorporate them into structures.
