William Koh's Neo Singapore 2085

This is something I remember back from early last year. A fantastic selection of concepts of the future Singapore. A place which I have spent the last semester studying at so this is another reason this selection of work attracts me. Although it looks more utopian it is still a fine example of what imagination, the right techniques and a direct goal can achieve, a perception of the future. And there are some nods to climate change with 'Old Raffles Place" being a flood zone and underwater. For context; Raffles place is one of the wealthy cultural centers of Singapore currently.

This project hits a few of my keywords very well - climate change and science fiction. And I can see the same project being useful in showing inequality if twisted a certain way. You can already see some area in this project are very expensive looking and built tall. But there are a lot of people who would live a lower and poorer.
